Meet your College Football Playoff wrecking crew. These are the most talented teams that have fallen out of the playoff picture but still have the potential to ruin it for somebody else. Some have only one loss, most have two.Beware of all of them. The season isnt done yet, and neither are these teams:LSU (3-2) Spoiler alert: Nov. 5 vs. Alabama; Nov. 24 vs. Texas A&MStating the case: The Tigers have a newfound energy under interim coach Ed Orgeron, and it was evident in their 42-7 drubbing of Missouri. LSUs abundance of talent was on full display, even with Leonard Fournette sidelined with an ankle injury, as?Derrius Guices ability to break long runs electrified the crowd. Quarterback Danny Etling didnt turn the ball over, and that will be key for any upsets to happen in November. In spite of losses to Wisconsin and Auburn, LSU isnt out of the SEC race just yet. The more likely scenario, though, is tripping up one of the top two teams in November.FPI says: Alabama (59.4 percent chance of beating LSU) and Texas A&M (62.6 percent) are the only opponents remaining on the schedule that FPI does NOT favor the Tigers against.Oklahoma (2-2) Spoiler games: Nov. 12 vs. Baylor; Nov. 19 at West VirginiaStating the case: The Sooners can still win the Big 12. Repeat: OU can still win the Big 12. Losses to Houston and Ohio State were devastating to its playoff hopes, but Oklahoma still has a shot at the leagues two remaining undefeated teams. The win at TCU was monumental in terms of giving OU something to keep playing for. As long as they limit the turnovers and stay healthy, the Sooners have the ground game to either make a run of their own, or knock Baylor and WVU off their paths.FPI says: The Sooners are favored in each of their remaining games, with a 74.4 percent chance to beat Baylor, and 62.9 percent chance to win in Morgantown.Florida State (3-2) Spoiler games: Oct. 8 vs. Miami; Oct. 29 vs. ClemsonStating the case: The Noles look like theyve come unraveled, but nothing brings out the best in a team like an old-school, in-state rivalry. Under first-year coach Mark Richt, Miami has a legitimate shot at the ACCs Coastal Division, but its game against the Noles is the first in a key stretch that includes Coastal opponents UNC and Virginia Tech. Florida State also has a chance to ruin Clemsons quest for another undefeated season. Clemson will still win the Atlantic Division with a loss in Tallahassee, as long as it wins out, but a blemish on the record could impact Louisvilles hopes at sneaking in the committees top four.FPI says: The Noles are favored to win each of their remaining games, but its tight, with a 55.2 percent chance to beat Miami (essentially a toss-up) and a 51.6 percent chance to beat Clemson (even closer).Ole Miss (3-2)Spoiler games: Oct. 15 at Arkansas; Nov. 12 at Texas A&MStating the case: Ole Miss has looked better in defeat than some undefeated teams have looked in their wins. This is an interesting triangle of teams because anything can still happen in the SEC West. Arkansas lost to A&M, so it needs the Aggies to lose twice, but Ole Miss is good enough to help out, and the Aggies also still have to play Tennessee and Alabama. Ole Miss lost to Alabama, which will be tough to overcome, but the Rebels have a bye week to prepare for their trip to Arkansas. They also play Georgia Southern before heading to Texas A&M.FPI says: The Aggies are favored to beat Ole Miss, but FPI is giving the Rebels a 74.8 percent chance of winning at Arkansas.Louisville (4-1)Spoiler game: Nov. 17 at HoustonStating the case: The Cardinals need Clemson to lose twice to get back into the ACCs Atlantic Division race (an unlikely scenario), but they can still ruin a perfect season and shot at the top four for Houston. The Cougars have no margin for error because of their conference strength of schedule and need another win against a Power 5 opponent in addition to beating Oklahoma to impress the selection committee.FPI says: The Cardinals are favored in each of their remaining games, including a 69.3 percent chance of winning at Houston.Notre Dame (2-3)Spoiler games: Oct. 15 vs. Stanford; Oct. 29 vs. MiamiStating the case: The Irish ended a two-game losing streak on Saturday with a win at Syracuse, they have made defensive changes and have a quarterback in DeShone Kizer whos good enough to win enough games to qualify for at least a bowl game. Along the way, Notre Dame has a chance to stick a fork in Stanford for good and to humble Miami heading into November.FPI says: Both Stanford and Miami are projected to beat the Irish.Swell Flaske 500 Ml . Malkin got tangled up with Detroits Luke Glendening early in the third period and his left skate took the brunt of collision with the boards behind Pittsburghs net. Swell Bottle Norge . The Vikings announced Thursday that Priefer will be one of seven holdovers from the previous staff, along with offensive line coach Jeff Davidson, wide receivers coach George Stewart and others. Didier Drogba gave away the penalty that put Senegal one goal away from a major upset, but the veteran striker will get another chance -- probably his last -- at the World Cup after Salomon Kalous injury-time strike sealed the Ivorians place in Brazil next year. Swell Flaske Blomster . PETERSBURG, Fla. Swell Flaske Blå Marmor . Andreas Johnson had a goal and two assists while Jacob de la Rose also scored for Sweden (2-0-0). Esa Lindell and Rasmus Ristolainen replied for Finland (1-1-0) Lindell opened the scoring for Finland just 41 seconds into the game, but the hosts quickly regained their composure and tied the score less than four minutes later on Wennbergs first of the game.PITTSBURGH -- Kris Bryant wouldnt let another win slip away. After Chicago squandered two leads, Bryants RBI single in the eighth inning lifted the Cubs to a 6-5 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday.Pinch-hitter Matt Szczur doubled to left field with one out against Pirates reliever Tony Watson (1-3). Bryant, who had three hits and reached base four times, followed with his tiebreaking hit to put the Cubs back ahead.I just go out and try to make something happen, Szczur said. I was able to get a good pitch to drive and (Bryant) did the rest. . Weve been grinding, were a bunch of grinders, so that was a good way to end the first half. We feel good about ourselves.Chicago avoided a series sweep ended its five game losing streak. Pittsburgh lost for just the second time in 11 games heading to the All-Star break. With the win, the Cubs carry a seven-game lead over the second-place St. Louis Cardinals into the break. We need a break, Chicago manager Joe Maddon said. We need to get guys rested. The combination of the schedule and, more specifically, the last week with the way games were scheduled, it put us in a fatigue situation.Cubs reliever Pedro Strop (2-2) gave up Andrew McCutchens tying sacrifice fly in the seventh, Carl Edwards pitched a hitless eight and Hector Rondon got the last three outs for his 14th save. The Pirates tied the score at 5-5 after the Cubs failed to turn a double play off a dribbler from Starling Marte in the seventh. With rookie Josh Bell at second base and John Jaso at first, Marte grounded to shortstop Addison Russell with Bell running back to second.Russell didnt tag Bell and instead handed off to second baseman Ben Zobrist, whose relay throw to first failed to beat Marte. First baseman Anthony Rizzo threw back across the diamond to third, where Bell avoided a tag from Javier Baez. With runners on the corners and one out, McCutchen drove in Bell with a fly to deep right field. Strop ended the inning by getting David Freese on a fly ball.Strop had come in for starter John Lackey, who had another inconsistent outing. After allowing four runs in his first three innings, which included McCutchens 14th home run of the season and his second in two days, Lackey rebounded by shutting down the Pirates through the following three innings.Lackey lost hhis control again when he walked Bell and allowed Jaso to follow with a single to start the seventh inning.dddddddddddd.Pirates starter Jonathan Niese fared worse, giving up five earned runs in 3 2/3 innings. He was pulled in favor of Arquimedes Caminero in the fourth inning after surrendering a two-run home run to Albert Almora Jr., retiring the following two batters and allowing back-to-back hits to Bryant and Rizzo in top of the fourth inning. When hes been good, theres downhill angle, hes had good command down in the zone, getting the ball in the glove side, Pirates manager Clint Hurdle said. There were too many pitches elevated again today. Thats really been the one common theme, is location. With better location down, hes been much more efficient.Niese has lost five of his past six starts and is 7-7 after beginning the season 6-2.Im really done worrying about my mechanics, Niese said. As long as Im executing pitches, thats all that matters. So, this All-Star break is going to be good. Its a good reset button. Im going to go home, enjoy the family and come back in the second half and give it all I got. Just start executing pitches.TRAINERS ROOMCubs: OF Dexter Fowler will miss the All-Star Game on Tuesday and likely some time following the break.
