Former FA chairman Lord Triesman believes FIFA should be dismantled and a new governing body set up in its place.Triesman has been a long-term critic of the world governing body and made allegations of improper and unethical behaviour by four FIFA members in the House of Commons in 2011.The 72-year-old, who resigned from his FA and World Cup 2018 bid posts in 2010, says he doubts the capacity of any of the current FIFA presidential candidates to change a deep-seated culture of corruption. He told Sky Sports News HQ: I dont think theyve achieved any reforms yet. They keep saying theyre on the way but Ive heard that quite a number of times in the past. Its a very deep-seated culture, and a very bad one, and it takes a lot of eradicating. My feeling is that it would be better to tear the model up and start again. My suspicion is that its in terminal decline as an organisation - too many people know the truth about it.Im very doubtful that these candidates can change anything. Im not sure one person, however good, could change it.Bahrains Sheikh Salman gained notable advantage in the presidential race when receiving the unanimous support of the African Confederation, while he is already chief of the Asian Football Confederation Gianni Infantinos presidential campaign backed by ECA On Wednesday, he called for voters to agree on a single candidate ahead of the election, after Europes leading clubs gave their support to UEFA interim chief Gianni Infantino.Triesman said: There are some decent human beings there who plainly believe the fundamental of the way FIFA operates is OK.But I can also see one or two are from a very autocratic background, and one in particular with an appalling human rights record. These are not the people to change world football. When people look at Sheikh Salman as a potential president, theyd have to ask whether a medieval ruler of a medieval state has it in their hearts and interests to change football in the modern world. I dont think he can make any difference. Also See:Triesman backs BrookingTop clubs back InfantinoAfrica backs Sheikh SalmanMore FIFA newsThomas Vermaelen Jersey . -- Aaron Murray threw for 408 yards and three touchdowns, ran for another score, and led No. Toby Alderweireld Belgium Jersey . Indian rallied from just off the pace to a one-length decision over Holy Boss in Saturdays $350,000 Vanderbilt.A.P. Indian benefited from a perfectly orchestrated ride by jockey Joe Bravo, who allowed the 6-year-old son of Indian Charlie to stalk the early pace set, as expected, by Delta Bluesman. A. P. Indian launched his bid from between horses in company with tepid favorite Holy Boss approaching the stretch, dueled with that one to the sixteenth pole before ultimately proving clearly best.Holy Boss rallied three wide to join the leaders on the final bend, raced in company, lapped on the winner through mid-stretch but was not quite good enough. He in turn finished 1-1/2 lengths in front of Catalina Red, who rallied mildly to be third. The win was the fourth in as many starts this year for A.P. Indian, who became a graded stakes winner for the first time in his previous staart when winning the Grade 3 Belmont Sprint.dddddddddddd He is also a perfect three for three since teaming with Bravo for the first time earlier this spring.A.P. Indian, a homebred owned by Green Lantern Stables LLC, completed six furlongs in 1:08.25, just .21 seconds off Speightstowns 12-year course record, and paid $11.40.I thought he really fit quite well with these horses, Delacour said. Knowing hes in very good form right now, we thought we had a very good shot. Hes always had a lot of little problems throughout his career, minor setbacks, but all the time he comes back even stronger.Delacour said hes unclear what might be next for A.P. Indian, with the Grade 1, seven-furlong Forego, a Win and Youre In for the Breeders Cup Sprint, among his options later in the meet.Well see how he comes back, but its asking a lot after coming back in three weeks today and having run three weeks before that, Delacour said. But well see. ' ' '
