Bournemouth striker Benik Afobe has admitted he will seriously consider representing DR Congo, the country he qualifies for through his parents, despite the possibility of a future England call-up.Afobe, who moved to Bournemouth from Wolves for £10m in January, has an England youth career stretching back 11 years, having captained the Under-12s, won the Victory Shield with the U16s, while also turning out for the U17s, U19s and U21s.But he revealed the Democratic Republic of the Congo national team are interested in selecting the 23-year-old, and that he would sit down with his parents and agent to consider it. Afobe has represented England at youth level for 11 years He told Sky Sports: Well see in the next international break what will happen, but I know they are interested in me, and its something my family, my agent and myself are going to have to sit down and talk about.Of course [its a big decision to make] because you know once youve played the international game that isnt a friendly, thats you done, you get to choose once and you have to live with it.But hopefully I will choose well with my family and I wont regret anything.Afobe has three goals in his six appearances for the Cherries so far this season, having hit 23 in two seasons with Wolves. The 23-year-old wants to be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Harry Kane But the striker says his ultimate ambition is to be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane, and wants to be remembered as a legendary Premier League hit man.Asked who the best striker in the Premier League was at present, Afobe said: Aguero. Everyone knows hes a world-class centre forward. Theres loads of strikers, even the young ones like Harry Kane, and Romelu Lukaku at Everton.Theyve been doing really well and have made a name for themselves, but its just about being really consistent. Its great to see strikers scoring goals week in, week out, and hopefully one day I can be one of them, someone who can say: He scores goals for fun in the Premier League. Also See:Howe dismisses Wolves claimsAfobe hits back at criticsBournemouth fixturesGet a free £10 betYeezy Boost 700 Greece .
