DENVER -- The Washington Nationals have traded right-handed pitcher Henry Rodriguez to the Chicago Cubs for minor league pitcher Ian Dickson. Rodriguez was 0-1 with a 4.00 ERA in 17 games for the Nationals before being designated for assignment June 4. He was 1-3 with a 5.83 ERA and nine saves in 35 games for Washington in 2012. He finished with a 4.23 ERA in two seasons for the Nationals. Dickson, a 35th-round pick of the Cubs in 2011, is 2-2 with a 6.88 ERA in 11 games -- three starts -- for Class A Kane County this season.
